On June 5th the Highlander series steps into new territory with a direct-to-video Anime flick directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri of Ninja Scroll and Vampire Hunter D fame.

As I wrote back in January, Highlander: The Search for Vengeance focuses on immortal Colin Macleod (connor, duncan, colin…is the whole damn family immortal?) and his ghostly campanion Amergan. They do battle against evil immortal Marcus Octavius, and I assume much beheading ensues.

The DVD rings in at $19.98 and features an interview with Yoshiaki Kawajiri (worth the price of the DVD by itself).
